Sopung

Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 19 August 2026

These terms apply when you use the Sopung app and the Sopung loyalty programme. Downloading the app and creating your card means you accept them.

The loyalty programme belongs to the Sopung restaurant in İzmir. The app is published by CODOTDEV LLC, which also operates the Loyalty Cards platform the programme runs on.

1. Membership

Membership is free and is set up with your phone number. You do not create a password or an account: enter the six-digit code sent to your number and your card opens.

One phone number holds one card per programme. Signing in again with the same number returns you to the same card and the same balance, even on a different phone.

The number you give has to be yours. Creating a card on somebody else's number is not permitted, because it takes their card with it.

2. Earning points

Points are earned when your QR code is scanned at the till. How much spending earns how many points is set by the restaurant; the current rate is stated on the information page inside the app.

Points are valid on your card only. They cannot be transferred, sold or moved to another card, and they have no cash value.

A purchase where your code was not scanned earns nothing. If you forgot to show it at the till, whether the transaction can be added afterwards is the restaurant's decision.

3. Rewards and tiers

Which reward costs how many points, where the tiers begin and what they give you are all set by the restaurant. The reward ladder and the tier card in the app always show what is currently in force.

These can change. The restaurant may change rewards, rates and tiers going forward. A change does not remove points you have already earned.

Redeeming a reward depends on the item being available on the day.

4. Point expiry

Under the programme's terms, points may carry an expiry. Expired points are listed on the History tab alongside every other movement, so why your balance has fallen is always visible.

5. Your QR code

The QR code in the app identifies your card. A code scanned at the till means that the transaction was made by the cardholder.

Keep your code to yourself. Sharing a screenshot of it also allows points to be spent from your card. If you think your code has reached somebody else, write to us.

6. Unacceptable use

You may not use the programme to earn points from a purchase that did not happen. That includes:

  • creating a card on a false number or one that is not yours,

  • trying to have the same transaction scanned more than once,

  • attempting to change how the app or the server behaves,

  • attempting to generate card ids or codes automatically.

Where any of these is found, the card may be suspended or closed, and points earned improperly are reversed.

7. Availability

The app runs on iOS 26 and Android 8.0 and above. It is not warranted to run without interruption: maintenance, network problems or changes on the stores' side may stop the service temporarily.

Your QR code is generated from your card, so it opens without an internet connection; updating your balance and loading your history do need one.

A new version of the app may be made mandatory. Where that happens, the app will direct you to update.

8. Closing your card

When you ask for your card to be deleted, the card and the history attached to it are deleted; any unspent points go with it and cannot be recovered. There is no button in the app that does this; the request has to be sent to the address below.

Should the restaurant decide to end the programme, it will give members reasonable notice.

9. Liability

The app is provided to show you the loyalty programme and to stand in for a card at the till. Without prejudice to the rights consumer law gives you, no liability is accepted for indirect loss arising from the app being unavailable.

The restaurant that sells them is responsible for the goods and services you buy there.

10. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top of the page is updated. Where a change is material, we will also say so from inside the app.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye. As a consumer, your right to apply to the consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts where you live is reserved.
